You could say A&S Boats began in 1957 in Livermore, CA by two dedicated boaters, Al and Shirley Passeri, when they decided to build their first boat in there garage in Livermore. Two boats later, and after coming to Connecticut, they saw the need for a store that sold superior boating products and Accessories. Thus, A&S Boatique was formed in East Hartford in 1970. That premise has carried over with their son Mark, who took over A&S Boutique in 1975 at the age of 18. In 1977, Mark bought his own first boat, a new Baja 18SS with the first Mercury 200 HP Black Max sold in New England. That was a huge engine back then ! This started the tradition of carrying only the boats with the highest value in their respective classes. These boats included the very first line that Mark chose in 1983, Chaparral, as well as Baja, Moomba, Supra, Triumph, and Leisure Life Limited. We carried these boats with pride, and the knowledge that we’ll continue to bring you the highest quality and value we can offer.
