A&S Boats began in 1957 in Livermore, CA by two dedicated boaters, Al and Shirley Passeri, when they decided to build their first boat. Two boats later, after coming to Connecticut, they saw the need for a store that sold superior boating products. Thus, A&S Boatique was formed in East Hartford in 1970. That premise has carried over with their son Mark, who in 1975 took over A&S Boatique. In 1977, Mark bought his own first boat, a new Baja 18SS. This started the tradition of carrying only the boats with the highest value in their respective classes. These boats included the very first line that Mark chose in 1983, Chaparral. We carried these boats with pride, and the knowledge that we’ll continue to bring you the highest quality and value we can offer.
