• A sistership to the 224 Sunesta only bigger, the 244 ranks among our best selling bowriders for good reason. Because of its slightly bigger size, the 244's power range extends from 260 to 320 horsepower. Chaparral's Extended V-Plane bottom, combined with our Wide Tech hull profile delivers a dry, smooth, secure and stable ride. Low end pulling power is great for watersports, you'll cruise efficiently in the midrange and when the time comes to put the throttle down, the 244 responds with excitement.
  • There's no telling what adventures you'll find in a 244 Sunesta. The boat is well equipped standard but allows you to choose from an options list that is highlighted by a stainless steel transom/bow shower, snap-in carpet, a logo mat on the swim platform, a premium sound system upgrade, dual batteries, a wakeboard tower and an air pump.
  • Chaparral's Wide Tech bow design makes boarding and debarking easy. Upfront, the forward anchor locker includes a secure cradle with locking tabs and space for a line and chain. A four step telescopic ladder also mounts inside the compartment for easy beach access.
  • The 244, like all Sunesta's, comes standard with telescopic boarding ladders fore and aft. A top-rung grab handle aids boarding
  • An optional filler cushion converts the bow area to an adult-sized sun lounge. The anchor locker includes a rattle-free locking cradle and a ladder. Flush mount hardware and a retractable navigation light encourage safe passage.
  • Oversized items stow in a huge console cargo area. A hideaway bow door provides all weather protection and stows flush to the helm. A second smaller door provides dry storage and a dedicated place for the optional side mount table.
  • Multi-function, nitrogen-filled digital gauges provide precision accuracy. To help keep you on course, Garmin GPS is available as optional equipment.
  • All of the gauges are set against a black, glare free dash that includes a glove box for stowing small personal items.
  • Nobody does bucket seat design like Chaparral. Our Dura-Life Max bucket seats feature premium quality vinyl, a flip-up front cushion, ventilated back and lumbar support. A stainless steel grab handle mounts in the headrest cushion and is accessible to passengers seated on the L-shaped lounge.

  • Ideal for snacks and light meal preparation, the cockpit wet bar includes a sink, pull-out faucet, trash chute, and under counter storage.
  • The optional side mount table works in either the bow or the L-shaped seating area. Like all Sunestas, the 244 comes standard with a cockpit wet bar that includes a pull out wand faucet that doubles as a shower and allows for quick clean-ups in the cockpit. The bar also has a solid surface countertop, storage underneath, a DC PowerPoint and a welcome trash chute.
  • Upgrade the standard transom seat with a Powerslide Lounge and enjoy the added comfort of a sun lounge. Stainless steel rails and drink holders are strategically positioned around the seat.
  • The convenient transom walk-thru encourages easy passage bow to stern and includes a stainless steel framed entry gate.
  • Aft, you won't find a better transom design in boating. The aft-facing lounge allows you to sit down while strapping on your wakeboard bindings. A huge integrated platform can be equipped with an optional logo mat for sure-footed protection. Dual fuel fills make it easy at the gas dock.

A telescopic boarding ladder mounts on the starboard side so the driver can always keep a watchful eye on everyone in the water.
